Our First Home At Cck

Recommended Posts

I have been using vpost past 3+ years, no hiccup so far and I like that I can pick up the goods from a post office at my convenient if I choose to.

Is this better than vpost?

I don't like vpost in the past but not sure how is it now.

I have been using HSG and find no reasons to change it.

it really depends on a few things...

1) Budget

2) Space in kitchen

3) possibility of a lifestyle change later on (might cook more, might wanna make your own cookies etc for kids so that you can control their diet a bit more etc)

I find meals prepared in the oven great...cos there is less clean up (dishes and kitchen)...less physical time in the kitchen...and healthy. Honestly, it depends on the individual. I hope that helps

Caught this post late.

Care to share what else can an oven do? Planning for new place. No kids, simple cooking and dont bake.

If you don't bake...well..it is a clean and healthy way to roast some chicken wings or drumbsticks to have with your meal...throw in some roasted veggies and everything is sorted while you take a shower after work. Add in potatoes and you dont even have to cook rice! LOL...i use it to roast meats...even chinese roast pork, i use it to grill babyback ribs...i can't live without my oven.

Electrical appliances in China are pretty ok, especially the bigger brands. For eg. such as soya milk making, 九阳 is reliable.

Only shortcoming is that you may have to use an adaptor for the plug.

Thanks OceanEleven...i have put this on my wish list....maybe purchase this later. As for the plug...can't we just change it to a singapore plug?

Not worth the effort IMO. Buying an adaptor is cheaper and more direct,

BTW does anyone knows the labour cost for tiling only if owner supply titles?

i tried that with my contractor...i think it works out to be about close to 30% savings...was thinking of getting my tiles from JB...in the end...for all the coordinating and stress if there isn't enough tiles, i scrapped it

taobao can buy directly liao. No need for 3rd party forwarder in the long term. Short term, they will still have some business.

Hi lala, can share with me how to purchase direct in taobao? Thanks
