Laminate Flooring Owners: How Do You Protect Your Laminate Flooring From The Rain Coming In From Windows?

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

Besides closing all windows before leaving the house, what else did you do? care to share the tips?

My house is using laminate flooring for the bedrooms. If the windows are not opened, it is extremely stuffy. I am concerned that if I leave the windows on, but did not close them and use the aircon at night, when I am deeply asleep, it suddenly rains and then the laminate floor will get wet before I wake up and close the windows.

How? what can I do?

aircon may be on for MBR, but not for study room or common bedroom at night. To close the windows for study room..hmm...can, but may be stuffy in the morning.

okay i was just curious. back to your questions. i thought hard about it, i dont think there is any practical method that can protect your existing laminate from water and doesnt alter the appearance of your laminate.

in short, you can only resort to closing your windows.

hope this helps.
