How To Measure L-Shape Kitchen Cabinet

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

Someone came to my home to measure kitchen cabinet. He counted the corner of the L-shape 2 times. Is it the correct way? I think the overlapped should be deducted.

The overlapped is 2 feet - cost = $120 x (2ft (bottom) + 2 ft (top)) + $120 (granite) x 2 = $720 for the overlapped part !

Please advise

Thanks,

Michele

if you do the joint at 45 degrees to the wall, then it will be calculated wall to wall count

if normal straight line join, they should deduct 2 feet...
