Yes grinding to polish marble is not advisable as the marble will just become thinner and uneven

Thats the problem with marble, have to maintain, but it gives a "Classy" feel

omg how unfortunate!! the same thing happened to me before, after awhile it just faded haahah like a few months, do let me know if whatever you are trying works!

Not only wine will have this issue in fact any liquid that falls on marble it will tend to stain it, this is one of the bad feature of marble flooring
