Pluck's Punggol Resort !

Recommended Posts

Harlow Everybardy..

So excited to have chosen a unit in Punggol and currently awaiting to collect our keys soon. Both of us have been lurking in Renotalk for sometime and couldnt resist starting our own t-blog. heh heh... So in typical t-blog fashion, here's the floorplan to kick start this thread!

floorplantl.jpg

I like how our maindoor opens to face a wall. Fiance mentioned that he would like to open the main door at times so that the flat is breezy and well ventilated, but i'm not used to this idea. With the main door facing a wall, we get to retain our privacy even when keeping it open. :)

There's a planter bed in the MBR. But sadly, we cant turn it into a mini balcony cos the three quarter height window doesn not open into the planter bed... So its as good as wasted space since i dont exactly have green fingers. On the contary, the plants i grow all wither somehow.

We havent gotten an ID yet even though we have plans on what needs to be done already... looking forward to meeting with some of the hotly recommended IDs from renotalk.

Hi Brandonlky,

Hi Pink,

If thats your floor plan that you are showing, your main door is not opening towards the wall, its opening towards the living room instead.

Looks similar to my floor plan, haha. Maybe we are in the same estate.

i think what pinkpluck trying to say is once you open the front door, you only see the wall of the household shelter. you have to turn slightly to the left to see where the sofa and tv would be placed.

Yes, That is correct May_dream1, Thanks! :)

We decided on a Modern Resort Theme. But somehow, i keep envisioning our house design to be that of a resort theme.

i am thinking of a colour scheme with lots of white/beige colour contrasted against Walnut wood colours to create a earthy feel.

Love the Glass candle holder in the photo below... anyone knows where to get this or something similiar? Went to King & King Wong today but they dont have similiar ones...

Met a few IDs so far. Realized that the most important criteria for ID selection is chemistry n comfort level. Can't imagine working with an ID who's functioning on a totally different wavelength. It's like paying $ to exasperate myself.

U know tat day I met this young chap from "AI" design, not sure if he was overly eager or what, but seemed like he was treating us as carrot heads wanting to chop us. Rather turned off.

Nothing much to update as we have been meeting a few IDs and awaiting the quotations from them. Collection of key is next week! So happy. As with most first-time home owners, its the biggest purchase of our lives to-date. But then due to the lunar 7th month, we will be postposing the opening of the door till Mid Sept.

Like this Samsung side by side door fridge a lot... but its causing us a lot of grief given the puny kitchen space... need to allocate more space on both the left and right as allowance, in order to be able to pull out the bottom trays for cleaning.

Samsung Wobble Technology Washing Machine. Dont ask me why i chose this. Guess i just like the Brown and i like Samsung. The fiance is always commenting on how i am buying things based on its asthetic appeal to me (subjective de ma..) and not for its functionality...a very female way of buying things. Well, who cares about the specs? there's always an appliance out there bigger, faster, better. right? hahahah.
