Generally, a lift cost abt $60K to $90K range. Serves up to 4 storey houses.

Yearly maintenance is abt $1500.

Was quoted slightly less than 20k in 2010 when I was going my place, 3-4pax standing or 1 wheelchair plus 1 standing. Hence I build a lift shaft which I use as an airwell now, just in case.

Hydraulic lift is fast becoming a thing of the past as now home lifts are equipped with pulleys and motors.

Hydraulic lift is dependent on hydraulic fluid which must be changed every few years and not to mention the snail speed as compared to conventional lift.

Hi There,

Don't mind if I hijack this thread.

20k seems to be a pretty good price. Better than anyone I have approached at least. Could you recommend that contact?

GMC, not sure if you have found out who offers the PVE yet, but I did a google and seems like there are quite a few companies that offer PVE in Singapore.

E-mailed them for quotes and currently waiting their reply.

Care to share if you have any findings?

Thanks

Hi

could you share the contact please?

thanks!

Sure.

So far I've approached the following people:

Newlift holdings http://www.newlift.asia/contact.html

Meyer Engineering http://www.meyer.com.sg/lifts

Elevatorsg.com http://elevatorsg.com/products/home-lifts/pneumatic-vacuum-lifts/

Saarelevo http://www.saarelevo.com/about_us.asp

For Saarelevo, not sure if they do PVEs, but read somewhere online that they do. They have not replied me yet.

Let me know if you have any others to share!
