The fittings left by my previous owner aren't that bad actually. Just that the wife and I are thinking that we might as well get new ones since we are planning to stay here for long. Hygiene also plays a part so if one can afford it, I'll always advice to change, especially WC and sanitation. I've been in CCK since 2007 and now moved to Teck Whye. My old place is less than 5 min drive away from my new place. When are you moving to BP mrsyap?

Yup Teck Whye flats are old but I like the old floor plans coz their kitchens are big.

I got my Hansgrohe goodies from their Mohd Sultan Rd shop. I went there during the GSS season and they were having some promo packages. Not sure if the sale is still on but you can try..

Now for my refrigerator, the one we bought is a bit unique from F&P. It actually is 2 separate unit, one fridge and one freezer. But they can be joined in the middle to make it look like one big unit. If you've ever been to Courts Mega Store at Tampines, you can see it being displayed in the kitchen showroom section. Here are the models;

Fridge - http://www.fisherpaykel.com/au/kitchen/fridges-freezers/fridges/E450RXFD/

Freezer - http://www.appliancesonline.com.au/389l-fisher-paykel-upright-freezer-e388lxfd/

The colours we chose are the same of course, matte finish stainless steel. Have you all seen it on display before? It's MASSIVE....my dream fridge would have to be the one by Liebherr actually which was on display at Kitchen Culture, but it was way too expensive...

Liebherr - http://www.liebherr.com/HG/en-GB/region-UK/products_hg.wfw/id-650088-0

I think the F&P one I got could match the Liebherr in size for sure....what do you guys think?

Haha, for me I hacked my kitchen and mk it small. Sacrificing kitchen space to make space for living hall. Smaller kitchen means less place to mop after cooking. Hope tat I wont b regretting making the kitchen smaller :P

Do you or your spouse cook a lot? If no, small kitchen would suffice. As for me, both wife and I love to cook and eat. So we pride ourselves in having a practical and efficient kitchen... ;)

I don't like messy cables so those 5.1 speaker systems really don't impress me. Was looking for something simple and with a cleaner look, so got this in mind at first...

bose

http://www.bose.com/controller?url=/shop_online/home_theater/tv_speakers/solo_tv_sound_system/index.jsp

But found out it was too small for my 50" TV, so continued searching and got a similar look from Zvox;

zvox

http://www.bestbuy.com/site/ZVOX---Z-Base-555-2.1-Ch.-Home-Theater-Speaker-System/3868476.p?id=1218437462230&skuId=3868476#tab=overview

Requested for demo at Audio House. Liked it and grabbed it. It's a really solid make and can support up to 65kg. So my 50" TV wld be no sweat for it.... :)
