2reno 0 Report post Posted August 12, 2013 Dear all,I am replacing my floor tiles in the living room with marble tiles and I had been quoted around $20,000 for an area of 500 sqft. This price include hacking (800sqft), laying and polishing but exclude supply of marble tiles. I read in this forum that laying and polishing cost $3 psf. Therefore, I feel the quotation I get is excessive. Can anyone please enlighten me? Also, if you have done marble flooring for your property recently and find that your contractor is good, please feel free to recommend to me. Many thanks and have a great week ahead!
