We're back! Took a week off our reno while our contractor apply his finishing touches.

Here's a small post about our shower screen, which was recently completed due to breakage during the initial installation.

We took inspiration from the Duravit OpenSpace shower screen, which is a perfect fit for our tiny bathroom space.

The tempered glass panel is a shower screen when open and nicely folds away into a bath cabinet when closed.

The handles also double up as rods for hanging stuff.

I like this *****. Is the side nearest to us a fixed glass panel? And will the glass door accidentally hit the shower or tap head?

Thanks zihui and v4xystar... more pictures coming soon!

There is no fixed panel besides those two small ones (light blue in the diagram)... It's a one sided screen. If we are not careful, the shower head might knock the top of the glass door. Just need to make sure it's either tilted back enough or higher than the door... At the shower head position, the door is already swing out, so here's quite a bit of clearance.

Hi Rumble! May I know how much it cost to set up that type of shower screen?

Same as a normal one... although, we felt that it should be cheaper, since the amount of glass used is lesser in this case.

Starting our reviews of some appliances we purchased. We start of with our washer-dryer unit. We got the Miele W3370 washing machine and T8812C tumble dryer from Harvey Norman. We decided to invest a little more in this set because we have used them overseas and found them to be reliable and they will also be used very often. So far, we are particularly happy with quietness of the machines when in operation. It perfectly fits into our space allocation for our laundry area.

Hi RumbleInstyle,

My new HDB toilets are same size as yours. Do you mind taking more photos of your toilets and where you place your shower screen?

Thanks!!

Pictures as requested. The master bathroom is divided into four corners, with one for each function – shower, toilet bowl, sink and entrance.
