Buangkok Reno Journey

Recommended Posts

Looking for good contractors? Click here for your request

Next up will be the most existing part of reno project:-

Discussion and finalise on cabinet carpentry design on exterior & interior, making choice for the laminate selection for the cabinet

For this, my ID is able to advice & provide valuable advice based on our home theme and requirement.

Of course, we do our homework too by showing him the pictures from home magazine read and info gathered.

My ID will then explain the pro & con of such ideas made, the suitablity and importantly mention any extra charges if to make accordingly to our ideas

To me , the hardest part is the laminate selection. One wrong decision will affect the entire outlook hence the 3D design plays a important part. So are the internal shelving of the cabinet.

The catalogue from EDL have many selection to choose from but must be mindful of the different price range. Top up is usually required if special laminate is used

Next Master Bedroom Cabinet - Completed Photos

We love the laminate design and storage space given!

For such L-shaped design, ID proposed to do casement doors for ease of everyday usage.

Internal shelving arrangement are according to our likes

Well, if you need additional shelf or require the shelf height to be adjustable, it must be communicate to ID before wood work starts.

As our ceiling height is 2.8m from ground, when choosing laminate with grains lines may result in matching issue at joint line as lamiante is standard 8 feet long.

Thoughful of my ID to make full use of the cabinet side area at kitchen with open shelves & centralise of light switches in one (Kitchen, Service Yard & Cabinet Spot Light)

Exterior Look when completed

(Note the minimum gap design when doors are closed)

Our verdict: The shoe cabinet is simple, nice & practical..Thumbs Up..

By now, you should know which 3D design selection we opt for..
