Sweet And Simple In A 3Rm Package

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone,

I have been following Renotalk for some time and now being eligible to purchase a flat of my own, the time has come for me to make some contributions.

After viewing more than 10 units, I finally found the place I would call home at Yishun. Although the COV was quite high for a 3 roomer, the location is excellent and the layout, clean and simple.

My floor plan:

Being a simple guy, here begins my simple Renovation Journey. More to come... :thumbs up:

I had been looking for a contractor for a while and was lucky to have found an experienced designer/renovator who could help me transform this home to something special.

I didn't managed to take any photos on Day 3 to 5, but they did the screeding, bricking of the Master Toilet wall and trunking for the Air-conditioner.

Day 6:

(Master Bedroom) - plastered the walls

Wow, very good progress wor! :thumbs up:

I like the way u moved the doorway for the MBR toilet to create a shower area, which would not be possible otherwise.

My layout very similar to yours. Should've thought of that!!

Congrats! I have just joined the 3roomer club too! My layout is pretty similar to yous except that the storeroom is sandwiched between kitchen and living rm instead of between the two bedrooms. Still waiting for 1st appt... Really goof idea to shift MBR toilet door. Not only create space for shower area but also create depth for the adjacent wall...how ingenious!

Yo MsJ9, congrats & welcome to the club! Then ur layout closer to mine.. I hacked the original storerm & re-erected it into the originally relatively big kitchen (still sandwiched between the living hall & kitchen though) to create a more spacious living hall & space for a dining area :) Looking forward to see ur t-blog in due course! [PS. Me lazy, no hv any t-blog.. :P]

By the way, I took a 2nd look at my MBR toilet again.. even if I shifted the doorway like warrensrv to create a screened shower area, the space left does not seem to be able to accommodate the toilet bowl plus a wash basin c/w vanity top/cabinet.. oso dun like the idea of the toilet bowl facing the doorway too.. :P So am eager to see how Warren's come out to be.. haha! :)
