Vinyl Flooring & Quartz Table Top

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

I am seeking some advise whether to using glue to lay the vinyl flooring or those interlocking system, any different? any expert can share your view?

Is it ok to do the vinyl without skirting?

And for the tabletop, where can i view the showroom for caserstone and silestone? I know where it is for iquartz but i can't find one for the other two. :( the different is only the country of origin and quality? And if quality, how to see or know which quality is better or value for money.

Really headache :(

For silestone, most of the samples are 3 - 4 ft long. & you can request to get samples of the quartz back.

I think it should be the same for Caesarstone? Nv been there though.. :D

hmm..for caesarstone, i can't find a direct shop, but there are some other company that hold caesarstone.

From the website, i only can assume that it is at bukit batok, since it is HQ?

For Caesarstone, you can pay a visit to Blum at Ubi. It's not meant to be a Caesarstone showroom but they do have 1 or 2 quartz tops on display with other samples at one corner.

Hi looneygas, i been there before to see their blum product and saw it caesarstone table top, there is only 1 colour which is white and i find it is much thinner. Is it suppose to be thinner?

Hi LeonHart, they will bring you to the official caesarstone samples if there is a need. They are actually a kitchen/counter top fabrication factory and it will be important for to know that you are letting a specialist to fabricate the top for you.

As Asking4Help pointed out, they have various thickness. When I was last there few months ago, I saw 2 tops displayed - white (didn't note the model) and dark (Piatra Grey). They have nice looking samples of some other models at a small rack with a handy Caesarstone brochure which isn't easy to come across at local shops.

Hi, now i remember that they do have a small rack with caesarstone brochure, but during that time i was not into that yet :( will pay a visit there again to see the brochure. Anyone know what will be the recommended thickness for the table top and is the thickness is like for what kind of work?

Btw for those that are interested in caesarstone, their showroom is at their HQ at bukit batok, but the problem is, it only open during weekdays from 9am - 6pm :(
