Hi All,

I need some help regarding electrical work price.

My Id have quoted me as follows:

Electrical Work (EXPOSED STANDARDS RATE)
1 To supply and install 1 x 13A power point. $ 60.00
2 To supply and install 2 x 13A power point. $ 90.00
3 To supply and install 6AMP light point. $ 60.00
4 To supply and install air-con point. $ 120.00
5 To supply and install heater power point. $ 120.00
6 To supply and install cooker/ hob point. $ 120.00
7 To supply and install SCV point. $ 150.00
8 To supply and install telephone point. $ 60.00
9 To supply and install doorbell point. $ 50.00
10 To supply and install dimmer. $ 30.00
11 To fix up lighting fixture. $ 12.00
12 To fix up lighting track. $ 30.00
13 To fix up fan. $ 55.00
Note - Concealed price x 2.
Can I check whether is the price reasonable?

Hi, everyone, I will be getting my HDB soon and I got a contractor for the electrical works. Just wondering if the quote he gave me below is reasonable or not.


1. 2 nos 2 way switch **** room = 100.00 --> 200.00


2a. 2 nos single power point(relocate in living room) = 60.00 --> 120.00

b. 2 nos data point(relocate in living room) = 60.00 --> 120.00

c. 4 nos light point in living room = 80.00 --> 320.00

d. 1 nos fan point in living room = 80.00 --> 80.00

e. 2 nos double power point in living room = 80.00 --> 160.00


3a. 1 nos 15A oven point in kitchen = 120.00 --> 120.00

b. 3 nos single power point in kitchen = 80.00 --> 240.00

c. 1 nos cooker hood point in kitchen = 120.00 --> 120.00


4. 1 nos single power point in yard = 80.00 --> 80.00


5. 2 nos lighting point in lobby = 80.00 --> 160.00


6a. 2 nos lighting point at toilet = 80.00 --> 160.00

b. 1 nos single power point at toilet = 80.00 --> 80.00


7a. 1 nos fan point in bedroom 2 = 80.00 --> 80.00

b. 1 nos lighting point in bedroom 2 = 80.00 --> 80.00


8a. 3 nos single power point(relocate in master room) = 80.00 --> 240.00

b. 1 nos telephone point(relocate in master room) = 80.00 --> 80.00

c. 1 nos two way switch point in master room = 100.00 --> 100.00

d. 1 nos lighting point in master room = 80.00 --> 80.00

e. 1 nos SCV point in master room = 60.00 --> 60.00

I am starting my reno work for my resale flat. My contractor quoted me the electrical quote. Anyone can advise whether the pricing is reasonable. Tks
