Cornices

i wonder does anyone still uses cornices for their place?

wondering it it expensive to do it nowadays ?

i hardly see pple doing it now, the fad nowadays seems to be brick walls

And for this pic

those on the walls are panels or cornices ?

Cornice is abt $2 per foot run.

Doesn't goes well with modern design, but useful if you are hiding wires behind cornices.

I have tried to style my house with cornices during my move because I have to hide those ugly looking wires that are not really good at my sight. I agree that it doesn't fit to modern design but if you are creative enough I think you can over come its design.

Go for the simplest 45 degrees design, it is evergreen.

But make sure your cornice covers your wardrobe as well.

Hi, I would like to have square set cornices in my new house. And I was told by a Construction Company(which I forgot the name) that when building square set corners metal is a better product and some companies use paper?? is this true ???

Well, I love cornices and I have installed cornices in my living room. They not only great but doubles the beauty of home. Before installing cornices you should be very sure that your roof doesn't leak.
