After the bedroom... move on to the living hall...

Recap again on my sketch.... to have TV wall with display vitrine by the side

B5277A7A-E4D1-4BDE-9055-2209C0DAB1BA.jpg

and the actual installation in progress- if you notice the white distress wood at the top beam.... that is my original boxup done 18 years ago.

It's actually pine wood.... and 50% water with white paint mixed and paint over... after it's dried... sand off to have the weathered look. over 18 years it aged and have the off white tint/

I decided to keep it and to marry the old design to the new.

and the rest of the TV wall with bottom storage is up//// I match the base to a brown matt wood finish.

from picture it looks like the wall is plain black- but actual it's a texture finished. same as the vitrine display surface.

u might notice the  original ceramic floor in this picture.... which I will be changing to a vinyle tile over laying it

Next moving on the long wall next to the main door....  instead of keeping it plain painted wall.
I use the mirror again to create the feeling of a bigger hall- Same I apply the same smoke tinted mirror.

the carpenter was telling me " wah lau.... the wall you have are slanted.... lol , he has to do adjustment in order to get the wall aligned right to receive the mirror wall

he has place riaser to fit the void and secure

Hi Tigaroo, is it expensive to have full mirrors, I intend to have full mirrors like yours in my 3NG living room instead of feature wall.

Could you also PM your contractor for the mirrors?

Thanks!

if you compare to plain painted walll, yes it cost more- need the carpenter to prepare the wall- you cant lay the mirror direct on the bare concrete wall.

I will get back to you again on the glass/ mirror contractors.

next stop the Kitchen....

my earlier sketch on how the kitchen will look- intend to cut it to half and to have the dinning area raise platform and the other half as wet kitchen.
