Need Advice On Bosch, De Dietrich, Bertazzoni And Miele Kitchen Appliances

Hi all,

I am clueless as to what is a good quality brand for gas hob, hood, oven, microwave and dishwasher.

I went to HN last night to get some ideas and was completely overwhelmed with info and pricing. I'm also not sure if salesman was just trying to sell me the most pricey ones!

Can I please get some advice on the above products on which appliance/s they excel in. I'm after quality and not to pay for a name.

Also, those with gas hobs on ceramic glass - do they scratch easy? Is it better to get gas hob on stainless steel?

Miele is way out of my budget for hood, but can consider bosch. However, i'm still looking between Bosch and Fujioh hoods, for cooker, i think either bosch or fisher and paykel will do it.
