Minimalist + Scandinavian + A Touch Of Industrial

Recommended Posts

Will be moving into a new apartment soon and we realised that there this Scandinavian theme homes are very suitable for our 90 square metre space.
Downgrading from our parents 30yo HDB to a new BTO is painful but can't escape.

Would like to find some like-minded individuals to share some ideas on Space [& possibly Cost] saving ideas to achieve this look.

Our Living room isn't this spacious but i think by hacking the wall we should be able to make it look more spacious.

This is the look that me & my hubby instantly agree on.

I like this look too. Perhaps in order for us to give you some ideas, do you mind posting pics of your living room, dining room, kitchen layout? What type of BTO is yours?

You can try to introduce a bit of pale / pastel blue if you think that the monochrome scheme is a bit dull. It will spark things up more!

had a good laugh with the mean comments from the link.. loving the high school bitchy comments on interior decor!

Your theme is great, and works well within a small area. I wouldn't go for trendy things like barnyard doors - stick to timeless scandinavian features like light wood, natural, earthy colours. You'd be surprised how plants can add a pop of colour!

the lamp over the kitchen sink, we have seen it at Likelights a long time ago.

They must be very good at predicting trends.

Good luck finding their shop.
