Hi All,

Happy Lunar new yr to all guest and members!!!

After a long break, is time to share one of my upcoming project at Upper Serangoon View.

Layout Plan

Typical 4room layout with the need to include an altar cabinet in the living.

This time we will be using actual bricks and concrete looking laminate to create a more urban rustic feel for the house.

HI All,

Finally got started with the renovation works. Today we will start off with the construction of kitchen and shower kerb first and we will continue on the electrical works tomorrow.

I like the way protective sheets r being used. My carpenter didn't use the protective sheet n damaged my floor. The id also didnt lay it. :(((( wondering why I buy protective sheet for if they dun use n damage my floor

For the entrance area, we have changed the brick wall to hollow block wall instead as it was not approve under HDB regulation. For the wall finishing we will be trying to do a thin plaster to retain the grout line pattern.

Skim coat plastering.

As the skim coat dries out, the grout will become more obvious and the wall colour will be in a lighter shade.

Hi All,

Here are some of the works done over these few days.

This is the effect of the skim coat plaster. Unfortunately my client did not really like this effect, thus we might be overlaying with craftstone bricks later on.
