Ideas To Make A Maid's Room

Recommended Posts

I live in a new 5 room flat. There are 3 bedrooms.

Need to hire a maid but it looks like we can't offer her a whole room.

Masterbed room taken by us

One room is need for baby and the other room is a study which will soon by taken by my mother (to oversee the maid).

Understand that HDB may not allow partitioning.

What else can I do to carve out a sleeping area for the maid? With reasonable privacy and space for the maid.. not cardboard style.

Are you sure HDB do not allow partitioning? Im not quite sure on that thou!

If that is the case, you can try using glass 'partitioning'. You can either use tinted glass for roller blinds, for privacy. If still insufficient, maybe frosting the glass farther might help.
