Granite Flooring And Kitchen Top

Recommended Posts

Hi

Being the noob,

Do I need to seal the new kitchentop after installation?

Can the granite flooring be recond?

Went through WWW, only a few places offer granite buff/recond,

Who would be good to go to, as well as the better products? from DIY stores or NTUC?

Thanks in advance

HI, what do you mean by granite top need to be seal? Also there's no need for granite floor to be buff if it's for home. Granite unlike marble, its harder. The shine will stay for a very long time because for home, the human traffic is lesser.

Hi everyone! Author, have you asked some professionals about it? Find good company in kitchen remodeling and they'll help you. As for me I was working with them and they can do all you want. So experience plays great role in this issue!

Really depends, if you have kids like me when they play their toys or play alot, that sometimes causes the stones to dirty fast also

Maybe i think is to protect the stone

Sealing not only protects the stone but also helps it to remain clean much longer

Heard some people say this as well, any reason why?

Sealing the stone is good because it helps to preserve the beauty of any stone for a long time

One thing i want to ask about sealing the stone is that can sealing be done for all stones or are there only certain kinds of stones only that can be sealed?

Indeed this is correct especially in our hot and humid weather, its always good to seal your stones especially its a much softer stone such as marble as marble tends to get much dirtier over the years in a hot and humid climate such as ours
