Thanks ankle and mmoh

Where did the beige tiles come from? The spare tiles are grey right?

OK Looks like just vinyl will do then. Yay. Is there a wheelchair friendly ramp from corridor to the main entrance door? Or like a step in the photo?

O How do you wait for delivery at your new BTO without fan or A.C.? Do you bring a huge battery operated fan and chair to sit and wait in the flat for 4 hours?

Delivery done after Reno. Ceiling fan and ac would installed by then. I've arrange chair delivery as 1st batch so that don't need to stand for long. Or just sit on the floor since cleaning would already be done by then.

Sink, cooker and etc installed during renovation. You'll need to purchase those when Reno start. For my case, my id went wif me when I make the purchase becoz he has to advice me on the measurements. My id was ard to help accept the delivery.

I've also bought bathroom accessories from taobao and put my id contact as recipient. Sometimes the delivery man just left the parcel in the riser and my id will go down within an hour or 2 to bring in the parcel.

Ya, vinyl flooring should be fine. Try to get a vinyl flooring that is more water-resistant just for extra protection. Installed The Floor Gallery's Eco Protect Resilient Flooring range. It's been great so far.

depends... some machines are OK. My Panasonic also cannot fit.

DO take note. Do not unscrew the HDB default tap and change, it is risky because if it is done wrongly, it can damaged the inside pipe (hiding in the wall). I damaged mine by doing it DIY based on the advise of some hardware shop, the screw thread in the pipe was damaged. Water start leaking and I have to get a plumber to change the tap and do some damaged control. Ended up it is more costly than a simple adapter.

It is better to buy an adapter and fit into the existing HDB tap, so WM hose can fit in.

I've bought my lg washer from Harvey Norman. They give me the correct host to fit into the tap.

When you buy your washer, maker sure to check whether the host is clip on type like the photo below. If not, just get one from hw store and use that instead of the one that comes wif washer.

do you need solar film?

Its depends on user, boss.

Alternatively, getting the ready-made blackout/night curtain could do its trick by dimming user's interior boss.
