Looking for good contractors? Click here for your request

Go for Silestone is the best.

They can even do a integrated kitchen sink which will solve or the leakage problem be it undermount or topmount basin. The product is call integrity sink. Do share with us the quote if gotten any.

Granite need to apply sealer to protect. If maintain well, the gloss can still last for years.

I find marble not suitable for kitchen top as it is not stain resistance and bigger pores and crack line which will trap food debris which is difficult to clean and unhygienic.

Quartz is for lazy people with no time to clean the kitchen due to their busy lifestyle which should suit most household due to both working spouse.

thanks, can you recommend the material for bathroom?

if silestone is around the price stated above then I think it is worth doing it since Caesarstone's colours are quite limited. iQuartz is about SDG 120...but will it stain and etched ? Caesarstone has a lot of complain in US ...thanks. silestone also have complaints ..http://www.complaintsboard.com/complaints/silestone-quartz-surfaces-mendota-height-minnesota-c44941.html

Your caesarstone pricing seem to be on the high side for Caesarstone classic range - Probably because they are allowing you to choose those that start with 5xxx and 6xxx also.

If you choose those 1-4xxx, then should be able to get about 180+-.

Hi Infinity2015, may I ask, where do you get the quote for IQuartz for $120 per foot run?

I called them up and they mentioned that their basic I Series is @ $150psf.

I also called up Hanstone quartz from Korea, their basic is going $180 psf. But I'm wondering why is it more expensive than IQuartz when they are only 85% quartz and 15% resin?

iQuartz cannot go directly to iQuartz itself. They will charge you usual price.

What they do is that they usually have a tie-up with IDs and other contractors (they cover the IDs). and usually contractors can charge you all the way low as 110 to 130pfr.

Try to talk to a few IDs to find out more.

We are authorized dealer for Silestone, currently they have pull down their price so much due to bad sales record, i find it worth the money now and its anti-bacterial technology has let me look at them differently, we have two demo-set (Kitchen & Island Top) installed just now and workmanship is fine, you may drop by to our new showroom to feel it yourself :good:

Visit us at

400 Balestier Rd, Balestier Plaza #01-24 or visit http://silestone.com.sg/

Hello, the price of all the materials can be found here online at an instant price checker
.
to answer your question on which one is better, it really depends on your personal need, the best way is to find a consultant and ask about it, i went for stone amperor and had no problem with it
.
But it you think its too early,
.

I would recommend you to look through this countertop guide
