Recommended Posts

I will not have a shower screen in my common toilet so am not sure is a veneer door water resistant or not. I am not keen on PD door, so hope any forummers can share their experience if any.

Hi styrx,

Confirm veneer door is not water resistant. U can choose alum bifold door, alum swing door or tempered glass swing door.

I'd vote glass too, especially if it's a smaller bathroom with not much distance from the bath area, where the door will be prone to getting wet.

I brought my BTO flat at punngol with the veneer door from HDB. Moved in 2011. Didnt install showerscreen use shower curtain a toilet too small. Around 9 months, the veneer door start peeling and black stuff start coming out. super gross.

Replace it with aluminium bifold door. cost me only $238 (for heavy duty roller, ehanced type). If you are on budget their classic one only cost $188. Been using for it for 4 years, still as good still as smooth. I got it from Ho Ho.

*REMOVED* Direct factory. Happy with the product and service. Dont repeat my mistake bro
