How To Replace A 3 Gangs Switch

Hi,

Currently my switch is like the picture below com n L1 cabling.

Problem is how do I map to N, L, L1, L2, L3.

I linked com - N n L1 to L1 to L3 n L3 to L extra cable. The switch lit up but then the light not switch on or light up. :(

It won't work.

Your existing 3 gang switch setup does not have a neutral wire.

The zigbee switch requires a neutral wire to work.

So, if you want to use the zigbee switch, you need to pull a neutral wire from the same lighting circuit.

Assuming you manage to pull a neutral wire to the switch, you then connect the live feed wire to L.

Then connect the neutral wire to N.

Then connect the 3 switched live wires from each light to L1, L2 and L3 respectively.

All connections must be made with the circuit breaker set to off.

Be very careful as you now have a neutral wire. If you connect wrongly, there will be a short circuit with a possible loud bang!

The circuit breaker must to switched off before doing any connection or disconnection.

Hi tenwatt, what you mention is my current 3 gang switch. I am more interest in my new zigbee 3 gang switch where there is a live n neutral as posted pictures.
