Hi,

Do you guys checking both floor and walls tiles if there's any hollow space and ask ID to rectify it if any? Is it normal practice?

thanks

Yes it is. It is very important. Use a marble or a knocking stick to do the check.

Question is now where to buy a "knocking stick" :yeah:

I think any normal bamboo stick should be fine

Seriously, after my personal experience, I think it is difficult for the ID / contractor to rectify hollow tiles with other tiles, especially if only a few tiles affected

So better upfront, have your contract to indicate what type of compensation you will want; $100 or $200 per hollow tile, etc

If they are confident of their workmanship, should be able to deliver
