Advice pls.. Is your neighbour's renovation (HDB) very noisy? my confinement falls during that period!

Hello,

Appreciate some advice. My neighbor sold his unit about 1 mth before and I estimate that the renovation will take place during the time when I am able to give birth or during my confinement period.

Can anyone of you shed light whether the renovation noise will be bearable? normally how long is the unbearable period? I have no experience on this; may seek alternative place to stay if the noise is too much..

it depends on what extend the renovation works is done. if its retiling whole unit, then best is move out for that period of time. cos tiling works are the most noisy, and often stretches for a handful of days continuously

since you are giving birth, it is important for you and the baby to get enough sleep, no experience with neighbor like this also but your best bet is finding an alternative place to stay while your neighbor is renovating their place..
