Paint for bathroom partition board

Recommended Posts

Hi guys, need some advice here. I have erected a partition board in the common bathroom In an attempt to conceal ugly sewage and water pipes. Through wear and tear, the paint of the board which are in contact with water / moisture has peeled. My concern is that it may become mouldy and further peeling may occur. What are my options now? I have read that using a primer and a PU paint on the board may solve the problem. Any suggestions?

Partition board do not like water, so I don't think it is the best material to use at this location. Maybe you can consider using acrylic or Perspex, they are water tolerant. And you have no more headache in future.
