siying 0 Report post Posted January 23, 2017 Hi, I have a main gas pipe running vertical in my kitchen. I am planning to use City Gas for my cooking. Some of my friends recommend that I place my cooking hob right beside the gas pipe so that City Gas do not need to run the extended gas pipe all around my kitchen which can reduce gas leak. However, I am concern that if I place my cooking hob right next to the gas pipe will it endanger myself for gas explosion due to the heat from the cooking hob? Can help to advise?
