Are TV, SCV and Phone points still needed when using Fibre?

Hi everyone,

For a resale apartment renovation, if I intend to subscribe to Singtel Fibre plan with Mio TV, is there still a need for me to have TV,SCV and phone points installed?

I understand that some people say that TV points are no longer required unless you intend to watch free 2 air channels without any mio/starhub subscription.

I would like to clarify this issue and hope some of you will be kind enough to help.

Even free to air now comes in Digital.  Either you buy a Digital ready TV or buy a Digital setbox to watch.  So I should say we don't need any SCV TV point anymore.

Any idea what you do with the SCV cable point?

Balance BTO come with that....
