Bifold doors and aluminium frame issues

Recommended Posts

Hi peeps,

Able to check anyone had any experience with bi-fold doors for bathroom? My contractor told me that it is normal that the plastic cover on the acrylic over is not "perfect" as it is used to protect the acrylic. For mine, when i go to inspect, the plastic is already bloated and coming off. Is it normal?

Additionally, anyone installed any black aluminium frame (fixed and not sliding door kind) for their kitchen? Is it normal to have a gap between the frames?

Kindly refer to pics.

Thanks.

u are suppose to tear off the plastic cover. its just like when u buy a car, when the car comes out from the container, it is covered with plastic stickers. they need to tear off the sticker to reveal the nice metal cover.

He says its to protect the acrylic. But i was thinking dun the aluminum frame also need protection other than the acrylic panel?
