Piping leak problems

Recommended Posts

Hello everyone, not sure if this is the right section to post, it is related to plumbing but it is more on the legality side instead of the technicality.

Had leak on my shower area to the downstair neighbor, had done waterproofing but to no avail, the waterproofing company should have really checked better, sigh..

I tried pouring water directly through the shower drain without touching any floor tiles or the surrounding and it still drip. Am I right to conclude that it has nothing to do with floor? upon some discussion and advice from plumbers, I was told that I might need to open up the ceiling or wall from my neighbor side,

In this particular case, how should the responsibility be allocated?? is it all on me?? thanks alot guys

If it leaks when you pour water into your shower drain, the water proofing around the pipping for the shower drain is faulty.

The water proofing for the floor includes the water proofing for the pipes as well, unfortunately.

The responsibility is on your bathroom flooring.
