Went up to our place yesterday and saw the kitchen clear frameless bi-folding tempered glass door are installed!3140541A-F58B-4E02-B63C-F646DD8692A3_zps0FFBD93D-4259-492E-93B8-AFE07DA68004_zpsB64D3D11-A7BB-448D-8562-B54C92EDEA09_zps

Unfortunately one of the wall tile crack when they drill the wall to install the door. :(661D93CE-E825-4988-93D8-61D9544E92F0_zpsBF821A71-BF22-4049-A7A7-F7E0799614A9_zpsreplaced one of tile and install back the glass door.125F8E06-6F75-4C32-B126-2425E6BD597A_zps

ohhh you doing DIY reno? im tempted to as well, but would it be difficult to coordinate works between different people? or when anything goes wrong they'll start pointing fingers at each other.

so far i tried asking individual quotes for carpentry, glass sliding doors, aircon, painting. not any cheaper than what contractors & IDs have quoted me. maybe i just dont have the right contacts.

So far went well for my simple DIY reno.

Maybe I'm lucky getting the right contacts.

Hi Ken, I notice your kitchen bi-folding glass door blocks the kitchen switches when it is open. So if you want to turn on the kitchen light, first you have to close the kitchen door, then turn on the switch and then reopen the kitchen door. This is not ideal in my opinion. You may want to relocate the switches to the other side of the wall.
