chengp 0 Report post Posted August 16, 2017 Hi fellow reno gurus and homeowners, I have bought a resale flat and is currently under renovating, due to budget issue, wifey and I has decided to overlay with vinyl flooring for our living room and other rooms. After the rooms have been overlayed with Vinyl floor, we noticed that there is a small area that the floor is uneven. I would like to know is there anyone with similar experiences and how did you rectify it. Thanks.
kangeroo168 10 Report post Posted August 23, 2017 there is nothing u can do with it because its the problem with the underlying tiles, and not the vinyl flooring. if the uneven is something like a pothole, u still stand a small chance of putting foam or even fill up that area with light weight cement. if its bulging up like a hill, then no choice, u have to hack that surrounding area, and then smoothen it. then relay back the vinyl floor.
