Honestly, I am that kind of a person that would always pay all the taxes, and try to convince all the people that are not doing it, to start do it, because it is a really important thing, first of all for us, as we want to have some better conditions. However, I really think that our government is actually abusing this tax subject already. There are just way too many taxes, we are being taxed for literally everything. Recently after completing the 1099 form, I understood, that out of the 248k bucks I earned this year, I will only have 143 or 142k. That is pretty... much money being gone for taxes. And that form, oh man, I just hate it. I edited it on https://pdfliner.com/form_1099_misc as I never know what I should actually write in there, and on that site I can actually use forms completed by someone else like an example.

I agree with you! I'd rather pay the taxes and sleep well at night than getting paranoid that I will be caught on not paying. I am not an expert in this area, but I am sure you can even risk jail time for not paying the tax.
Just to be confident, I hired a specialist from https://www.taxbycpa.ca/services/, and I don't even think about them anymore. They are doing everything for me. Paying the taxes at the right time even increased my credit score, so when I provide my SSN, everybody sees that I am a responsible person!
