Platforms and Platform Beds in HDBs

Hi Guys,

I was wondering if we are allowed to have platform beds with storage in the bedroom. I contacted some contractors and they said its possible, whilst others said that HDB doesn't allow platform bed with storage, only a raised platform bed. 

I was planning on getting a platform bed to allow for more storage space for a small house. Also, does anyone have any quotations on what the average charges are? So far i've been quoted $25-35 psf. Please do share pics also if you have one in your home!

This is from my master bed room, we wanted the room to look big and spacious so our contractor advise us to do a settee. Our TV is wall mounted with concealed wiring. The side is settee with storage. At night can do my work on the settee. Wardrobe is done on the right side full length to the toilet.

I have been planning for platform bed as well. Maybe we can start a topic on the quote you guys get and recommend the good workmanship carpentry to do the platform?
