Quartz Stone Counter Top Charges

Dear All, 

Recently my friend 4room flat just done with their cabintery works total around 5 cabinets ( kitchen, 3 BR & shoes canbinet). I will like to check about quoation of quartz stone for kitchen counter top since I was told by them everything have to check and ask  because they was charge additional for the quartz stone. I was planning to do some minor renovation with my resales flat  so I will like to  take this chance to check the following in the forum:-

1. My friend table top was charged $150 per ft and in quotation it does not mention anything about if the dimension nor any clause stating how much it will be charged if exceed certain depth /Length.  She was charge with a VO of 1) lower cabinet  cabinetry work 10 ft  x  $70/ ft  & 2) Table top 10 ft  x $75/ ft when only exceed 20mm . I find the price being charge is ridiculous.

I would like to find out what is the maximum depth supplier will provide for tabletop including backsplash.
