Reno for Resale 3rm flat with upcoming HIP (home improvement program)

Hi All,

I have a 27 years old 3room flat at yishun that needs to be renovated. However, I was told that this unit is due for HIP voting coming July. And possibly works for HIP should start in approx a year's time. 

I will want to renovate the whole house including kitchen and bathrooms...but with the upcoming HIP, I'm faced with a dilemma of whether to renovate the bath rooms or wait for the HIP...but that will still take a year or so... 

I'm collecting keys in late June 2019...

Anyone here faced with similar dilemma?

you can renovate the rest of the house first since HIP will only affect the bathroom. the earlier you renovate your home, the sooner you can realise and go back to your dream home every day
if the bathrooms are still in good condition, you can save the money up and wait for HIP to renovate it at subsidised cost.
