Black Line Between The Laminate Edges

Recommended Posts

Does anyone know how to remove the blackline in between the laminate edges?

My laminate is maple colour, and all the edges in between the laminate edge have a black line....

Please advise...

Thanks!

Looking for good contractors? Click here for your request

My laminates are black / dark grey..

I think the carpenter simply used a black paint marker to draw over, if you can find maple color or something close, should be done the same way..

Hmm, I like light color laminates.

I found out that the carpenters can do some "patching" use some form of "putty" (hope i et it right) to fill up the "black lines" or if not you can asked for ABS trimming else there are some laminates with with base but will be much more expensive.

hope this info helps.

but check with your ID/renovators...one thing for sure, can be resolved though may not be 100% like those you get for verneer edges.

Cheers

Thanks Guys!

Actually would love to use ABS trimming. They are using ABS trimming only for the doors of the drawers. Because ABS trimming only comes on a small width i guess....

They installed the console, so I can see the black lines, it's a bit hard to change to veneer edges / anything more expensive, I guess, i have to find my own way... either paint it over or do something else... :D
