looks like just a false ceiling opening to me leh. are any of your services (eg water heater) inside?

better make sure its not just a false ceiling and theres enough support b4 u go in. if its just a false ceiling it will give way under ur weight.

Yup..the water heater is inside.

That opening is a false ceiling..but there's another layer of concrete up there..should have enough support i guess...the workers climbed up there before to move some of the old tiles down. I asked them to move my left over tiles up there as well!

My stickers from IKEA..3 people 'crashed' into my clear glass kitchen door before I put this up...Hope the stickers can last! They are actually meant for walls

The white conices are certainly an improvement! :dribble: You must be so happy.

Yeah.. Happi happi!! :dunno:

wah your place now totally different feel liao

you must be really happy with the result :P :P

i'm still :P :P :dribble: at the row of full-ht cabinets in your kitchen

There's a little problem with the cabinets...some 1m shelves may actually 'sink' under heavy weigh...so some of the shelves can only put light-weight stuff

oops that's not good to hear

but at least they didn't give way immediately

maybe can put something like boxes below to give some 'support' :)

that's the problem with none-solid wood, too long and they tend to yield in the middle

now i'm starting to worry about the bottoms of my big drawers
