Based on your experience, how long does seller take to respond to bid? Bidded for house. Seller no feedback. Been more than a week.

Bidded for a house recently. Very close to asking price. Seller seems interested but agent told us to be patient as seller needs to think.  

Any similar experience?  How long did you wait? Did you do a lot of follow up in between?
