Hi Aron,

I went down to Gain City and was recommended to purchase a System 3 Inverter from Sharp Model:

Indoor: AH-XPC9/12MV

Outdoor: AU-X3M24MV

The price is S$2,729.00, thus will like to know is the price reasonable?

Please Advise.

Hi All,

Do any of you hide your air con pipe inside the false ceiling?

Might be a bit late in the reply but I think this should benefit all users out there who have yet to install aircon. Please just leave the trunking visible. I know this is unsightly and definitely score lowly on WAF but it is the most practical thing to do. I did the opposite in my flat, going even to the extend of constructing plaster boards to conceal all trunking. Things were fine for the first couple of years. Then realize aircon lose its coolness too frequently. Servicing requires top up of gas once every year which suggests that there is a leak. However, difficult to do leak check due to the conceal pipes unless I'm willing to destroy the boards and then seal up again thereafter.

So my advise is to leave them out. Yes they will look ugly, but after a while, you'll learn to ignore them and will appreciate that they out out there should you ever need to check or service the piping.
