I used Jenny's mover for my piano moving the last time round to shift temp to my sis place, now will be moving over to my new place. They did a good job last time round so most likely will try them again. Never tried their house moving so not sure if it is the same standard. Anyone else have feedback on Hua Yong? Notice they shift piano also.

Hi, tks! I looked up today's classifieds and this is Hua Yong's ad for those who are interested:

- Boxes free

- Free quotation

- Specialise in house/office/removal disposal, piano/organ safe dismantling and packing services

- local experienced workers provided

- 20% discount for every removal

Call: 67565508 / 62576113

Keltong, is the Jenny you used same as "Jenny Professional Movers", tel 62439378 / 97557813? Got this from the classified ad in today's St Times too. What are their rates like?

i've used jimmy movers twice before too. am pretty pleased with the service so i'd help to do recommendations too. he's a friendly chap and his workers are fast too.

i didn't get him to provide me boxes or wrap anything ... but am still rather pleased. for me its simple, juz get my things from point A to B without breaking anything can already...haha. if u want his contact, pls PM me. (i dun log in everyday, so may take a while to reply PMs.)

cheers :D

I called jimmy up 2 weeks ago, requested him to come down give quotation. Seems he is too busy, said he will call back few days later to arrange but he never did.

In the end I engaged Cornerstone Movers. Moving next week, so no comments on the service yet.

Hi Salisa,

Can you pm me Hua Yong Removal service contact info too? Thanks

Hi there,

Personally, I use Hua Yong Removal service. They helped me to dismantle my furniture and put them back together at the new location. Plus they work super fast and the guys are really sweet and polite.

E.g. When they first arrived at my home, they did a quick assessment of all the things they will have to carry, dismantle etc. Once that was done, their 'leader' came up to me and asked for my permission if they can smoke a cigarette.

They said they don't smoke while they are working. So its only before the actual work begins.

I moved my items from Yishun to Toa Payoh to Tanglin Halt.

Price of truck was 180

30 bucks for each location therefore I paid $240 in total.

Price inclusive of the strong young ah bengs who helped me moved my stuff. :P

I'm gonna use their service again when I move to my new place next month.

Just my 2 cents worth... No obligations.

PM me for their number cos I believe no advertising is allowed in here.
