  1. This is all MINE.....haha My colourful carpet. Lastly, my kitchen with glass backsplash
  2. It's been awhile.... We've been busy cleaning and packing x 1000 times and slowly shifting our stuff over. Here's a very "zen" photo after a looong day of "work" Just chilling on a cool saturday night.... My amzing bath basin is up This mirror cupboard contains all my skincare, make up, girly things My table desk with space for hidden power sockets
  3. Hi John, the lights are LED spot light, resting on glass and mirror. I threw away the grille-like base of the piping box.
  4. So my carpentry is moving along slower than I hoped. But here it is, at least the carcass is up, they will have a fair bit to do as there's some mistakes here and there which needs to be rectified. My whole row of storage for living room Ends with a TV console Cosy corner-to-be, currently filled with renovation "junk" This is our wardrobe.... And this is mine other wardrobe/dressing table in 1 So, did anyone noticed my pelmet?
  5. Hi, I don't have a full shot of my bath tub, however, I can tell you that it's definitely a comfortable size for 1 person. I think it's 1.6 or 1.7m x 0.7m width.
  6. Hi guys, I will just reply here since everyone's asking about the black metal rack. I bought from Shelf N Store at Toh Guan Road East at $481.10 for 2 racks to form an L-shape in my bomb shelter
  7. So now that there's more carpentry installed and we've even shifted in our dinning / gaming table! Loads of snacks for gaming night Bomb shelter rack is also done, in matte black While kitchen is glossy white, I guess we are really extreme people, our home is either black or stark white...hehe
  8. Hi, I do not have an ID, we design, manage and oversee our Reno ourselves
  9. Ya I guess for new bto they don't allow us to gate gate to maintain a uniform look
  10. I used normal metal/wood paint. I think there's no restrictions on painting the door and gate, as far as I know, only can't change it.
  11. This sink is definitely not from HDB, I replaced all my basin and wc becuz HDB provided yellow-beige ones
  12. Hi, I wouldn't recommend this bowler hat as the quality is not good and the shape is really far from the original. We just use it because I don't wanna spend extra money and waiting time buying another piece.
  13. We managed to confirm a nice sofa which we both liked. I feel that the sofa is the most important piece of the living area and thus we did not compromise until both of us "approved" the sofa. Don't be fooled by the look of this sofa as we measured, it's almost 2m in length, which was perfect for us! The interesting thing about this sofa was that it actually belonged to a 3 piece modular set and this is the L-shaped part of the modular sofa, kudos to HB for creative thinking! Bad news is that it'll only be delivered in mid June, but I don't really mind waiting a little longer for this. Both our toilets' lights were awesomely installed, feels so hotel-ish Master Bath And common bath Also, we decided to switch from solid surface kitchen top to quartz after hearing that it really really really scratches easily So we will be choosing the grey quartz on the left
  14. So long no updates, I don't even know where to start! We have been busy solving issues such as.... This nice basin, which we will have to forgo Due to this issue, the bottom of the basin will block our drainage pipe. We only had 2 solutions for this. 1) Cut a gap for the pipe (something which I didn't wanna risk this costly basin shattering to pieces) 2) Exchange for a suitable basin So our new basin will look like this, something simple and practical On the same day, the vinyl tile was completed We've also painted our gate and door black, away with the ugly HDB colours!
  15. Hi 😊we got those switches from taobao, it's about S$30 for 1 switch... We bought 4, 2 working fine the other 2 worked fine initially but now seems to be haywire so we r importing again 😔 It's a risk we take when buying from tb becuz it's way cheaper than getting from sg 1 set consist of 1 modem looking thing (IR blaster) about S$50 and at least 1 switch S$30
  16. Week 7 & 8 Hello guys, it's been a while since I updated this...becuz there hasn't been much to see. These past 2 weeks we have gotten the works done which aren't really the visual type, it's more on the back end such as fixing switches like these... hehe And when it's switched on... In case you're wondering what's the big deal with this switch? They are part of our smart home in the making which includes motorised curtains and controlling our lights/ac from our phones whenever connected to wifi Look! What's shinny and polished?.... Nope, not diamonds... Its.............................................................................marble! Photo spam! Ok, thats it for now. This sat my air-con and vinyl flooring will be installed...that we mark the completion of the flooring. After that we shall look forward to....THE CARPENTERS!
  17. Week 6 We finally have lights in our homes! No more using handphone light when we pop over in the evening. Initially we were quite worried that our lightings will not be bright enough as we taobao-ed in mainly spotlights and LED strips, we even went to a light shop to "enquire" about the brightness of the same spotlights and the salesman told us spotlights will definitely be dark and advised us to mix and match flood lights with spotlights...ewww Luckily for us, our beautiful spotlights are super bright! Living room Walkway to the room Bedroom 2 Even our bowler hat lights are up too We got all our lightings from taobao and so far we've spent about $1k on lights. The light shops in Sg we saw are selling similar lights for 10x the price in taobao So I guess it's money well spent. Ta-da for now, my tiler says he can finishing polishing my floor by this week and I will get him to do housekeeping becuz his workers kinda left all their tools, shovel etc etc in my tiny kitchen -_-" making the space very messy
  18. I bought most of my home's appliances at the Gain City expo over the weekend, Electrolux 7kg Frontload Washer Electrolux 7kg Dryer EF built in oven EF 2 Induction Hob, EF cooker hood and Hitachi side-by-side fridge in Silver glass Will take more photos once it's installed
  19. Hi Guys, thanks for your votes However, the HB is leaning towards grey top atm, he does not like contrasting colours in 1 room even our vanity laminate that we are going to choose will be greyish.
  20. why not? The air con trunking is secured tightly to the concrete wall and beside the tiles are not that heavy. My tiler used adhesive to paste the tiles onto the air con trunking
  21. Week 5 Our toilets are more or less completed over the last week This is master bath with WC and bath tub installed We solved our issue of ugly air con pipes in our master bath by covering it with tiles, look at the perfect joins! Super <3 Common bath is also 90% complete, waiting for glass shower screen and vanity basin When we went over on Sunday, the workers were busy working on the marble flooring This marble has been causing a lot of headaches from the start! From being broken during delivering to running tones...I'm glad it's finally installed on the floor.
  22. My 3D drawings are done View from dinning room to living room View from Kitchen Service yard View from Kitchen door View from Master bedroom to ensuite study/wardrobe room View of Master Bedroom
  23. Hi breakster, I'm in both MD and MV Facebook also under Septh there. As for the ugly signage I seriously hope it's temporary only (for the fact that it's not lighted up at night....yet) *fingers crossed* Can't help but look over to MV's über signage built with "wooden trellis" Overall I'm quite pleased with MD's landscaping especially with the sloped terrain between 590C and MSCP
  24. Hi neighbor, nice tiles for ur bathrooms! I believe u r from Blk B?
