    I tried to google but showed nothing so far.

    I intend to have Carpentery work for a storage cupboard in the store room.

    But after getting a few quotes.

    Ranging from $2750 to $2400 base on the given dimension to these different companies ID.

    JDB Design & Build came back the cheapest at $1800 and if I use their white color laminate it will only cost $900.

    Sorry to ask would u still use them as it seem so cheap.

    Pls let me know if they are good.

The boss of his carpentry even told me he sacked his guys becos of this...as it also happened to another renovation.Eventually, I've got a lot of faults with the reno and till now (less than few months), most of my stuffs are starting to fall apart. Though he is the contractor, I seemed to be doing most of his job.I refused to pay the remaining balance and he filed for Small Claims. I won the case, because I had all the photos and messages as proof. Settled for discounts on the balance. However before even paying him, I realised a lot more faults on my carpentry, and I told him it's either you rectify else I won't be paying a single cent - we can go settle this in front of the judge.He never reply my message...and then today...I receive a call from the Debt Collector... so he apparently engaged someone, wanting to collect back the money.If you want to find out more about what happened and his workmanship... DO PM ME.

    My advise is Mr Chew is extremely horrible as he made me took leave 2 times and wait for him at home. We were suppose to meet wed 2pm and at 2pm i ring him to ask if he is reaching soon? He told me got to cancel as he is busy and stuck at another place today.

    2nd time was the same too, i am so dead mad that he should have the basic manners to inform his customer in advance if he cannot make it. But not let his customers find out by calling him on the appointment timing.. Shees...

    Thus is IKEA curtain sewing department charges $18 per meter including workmanship is it expensive?

    Depends on who u spoke to. Some staff may try to brush off complains in order not to alert their management. Try sending an email to their higher management. Be nasty and harsh in ur complain and demand for expedited reply and compensation. Attached pics showing the damages. Rem, even if the tiles are of low quality, damages are still damages. They cant juz brush off responsibility by merely saying its due to low quality tiles. Usually they'll react, unless they choose to ignore ur email.

    Rover thanks but i tried to email and worst no reply for the last 2 weeks. :(

    City gas crack a few tiles during installation of the gas pipe, cause by the way they work is they dont care and anyhow drill.

    When i rang City gas up to feedback, they told me it is those installer is SUB CONTRACTORS not City gas staffs.

    But they will send their manager down to inspect the damage.

    Guess what the stupid idot assxxxx City gas staff told me when they are down?

    ( Those crack is normal cos the quality of tiles arent good..

    But When i ask him why the plumber workers from India also lay water pipe beside the gas pipe why did not crack.. They told me plumber is lucky to lay over those better quality tiles..

    This is crap..)

    Can we complaint to anyone in City gas? Or this is the type of standard City gas provide?

    False ceiling & L box done.

    My concept is open kitchen + false ceiling for down-light and L box for cove light all the way from the living room to the kitchen on the left side.

    Was surprise that painting could be done in just 1 day using Wash & Wear

    Continue to install aircon ..

    Alan was smart to tape up the window frame as itis white powder coated and tape up the condenser fins so when the aircon workers climb in and out .. It may damage or scratch the window frame.

    Walk in wardrobe room aircon unit @ 8500 btu.

    Master bedroom aircon unit @ 11500 btu and the other side you can view would be the walk in wardrobe room. Both aircon cover and tape up with plastic bag to prevent dust from the false ceiling work which would commence next.

    CITY GAS service is very horrible and they send gangster looking sub-contractor to do mine my home. If they made any mistake, i tell them on the spot they will just reply me why so fussy or cant lah why cannot meh ??

    Look here they crack my wall tile while trying to install the gas copper piping white plastic holder.. I told them they just crack my wall tiles and the sub-con reply was crack abit only why so fussy and it is like that why some crack some dont crack !@$%^&$@$#^& /b]

    Did you check if your aircon compressor is SCREW on or just PLACED onto a aircon bracket?

    As today my ID told me they dont screw the aricon compressor onto the aircon bracket as future it cannot be remove. But i am worried it may drop downstairs and hurt

    someone...

    So it is true that the aircon compressor is not secure onto the bracket via screws?
