    I have bought my SWH too. A question I have is that what does the "heater" switch in my main bedroom do since heater is in common toilet?

    The heater switch in your main bedroom is supposed to be for instant water heater (so now it is useless). I have the same thing.

    Btw those who engaged the curtain maker opposite waston, beisde KFC.. hw is their service and quality? just went there.. the SA - SAM looks pretty honest and not pushy.. quote me 1.5K - 2k depend on material and etc...

    they are okay..

    hi, anyone of u are 4rmer? not too sure of my unit(97sqm) window measurement.. 32bucks per meter.. is roughly hw much for the whole hse? care to share hw much u all did regardless of material quality n etc..

    was quoted 1900plus at katong for normal material(2 normal blinds for bedrooms n day/night curtains for living n mbr) n track based... if go for roman blind, and rod based curtains with better quality.. would cost more which is easily 2k plus according to them... or is this market rate for normal n better quality?

    Just saw TP chasing red plated car driver(drive so fast.. if kena caught.. i think the driver can pay for the OPC price liao...)

    Mine is 4rm, I paid $1.2k for curtains. Day and night curtain for MBR and living room, night curtain for the other 2 rooms and aircon window.

    Regards curtain, was doing mine with the shop at bedok near to KFC and realised that the quality of the material is very important. If you get cheap curtains, lets say day curtain, the material may just break apart after 1 or 2 years due to the sun/washing. Same for night curtain.

    The boss there made the curtain the standard industrial height, so in future if I change won't have to incur so much extra $ to make 'custom' ones....lagi good ones can cost around $40 per meter or something...

    I actually got my curtain from the same shop you mentioned. The cost of the curtain my wife chose is about $32.00 per meter. He just installed it on Friday.

    Just like to check, for water, electicity and gas, are they solely dominated by PUB and citygas?

    i mean i guess there isnt a choice for water and electricity, but what abt gas?

    any other options we can have beside citygas?

    yes for gas, you can buy LPG (liquified petroleum gas) tank from any Shell or Mobil supplier. This is used by households who do not have citygas service.

    Np 1 :) .. Fisher & Parkel neighbourhood electrical shop gt sell.. Goh Ah Bee have and is cheaper den BEST, HN and COURTS.. becos neighbourhood shop gt space constraint, they will display more consumer-in-demand brand items like TOSHIBA, SAMSUNG n etc.. they might have catalogue for the items u wan.. need to ask.. the down area is u might not be able to c the product itself.. but u can go COURTS n etc to c but buy can go neighbourhood store..

    I agree, neighbourhood electrical shop are cheaper than those shops in the mall.

    I was asked by some people what are mistakes my ID has done. Actually, very few and minor only. (i.e. wrong placement of some bathroom accessories) I realized that I can prevent mistakes of ID if I am able to visit my flat everyday.

    Just a note, if after a week and you see some mistakes already, I urge you to visit your flat everyday while doing the reno. Also always refer to the 3D provided (if any) by your ID and see if it matches what you want.

    My renovation half done.

    Will be at my unit this Saturday 10 am to meet my ID to trash out something. So anyone want to visit 9 am or after 11 am can let me know. Can share with you some 'mistakes' my ID making....

    Reno done

    1) Tiles

    2) False ceiling **** and master with space for curtain rails

    3) Wiring attempts

    4) Cement bases, kitchen position (potentially mistake here by ID....)

    I just take my keys yesterday...

    ThE power Grid personel ask to call 3 days in advance to activate the power & water supplies... before my reno start....

    Is it true? or do i need to go personelly to Power Grid?

    Don't worry abt it, SPServices personnel told me that all units at Linear Green are pre-activated. You can confirm that when you go to SPS.
