  1. Hi people,

The water heater in my common bathroom has been spoilt for many yrs. So wanna ask if I buy from one of

the retailers, do they provide installation services? or do i hav to ask an electrician? or a plumber? to carry

    out the installation?

    Cheers,

    pearljam

Installation wise, you have to pay about $100 or so since those shops will just engage contractors from outside to do it for you but ask if they also do the electrical wiring as well. Not sure about uninstalling part, so probably you need to call and check.

  2. it will be flimsy or wobble u may call it. 2.57m is too long for 10mm glass just as what the above mentioned, all is true.

Hi, thanks for replying. So just want to ask if i am doing a full height, it must be at least 12mm right? Or am i better off doing a parition on top for a 10mm one? But then again, doing a partition might take a bit more time.=/

  3. Why don't you take the mean length? Imagine there is a line in the middle, so the length for the sides will be 9ft (10ft - 1ft (1/2 of the width)) each, the middle piece will be 8ft (10ft - 2ft (1/2 of the width from both sides)). That will be 26ft in total.

  4. I just read through some of the posts, so just a question here, i just got some samples from my contractor and it's Cresto, may i know how much does it cost? I want to know so that i can compare it with my price. And also how good are Cresto tabletops?

  5. I am about to do my kitchen cabinets soon, but just want to ask, are cabinets above the fridge useful? I actually set provision for that when discussing with my carpenter because i went to 2 of my friends' houses and saw them did that but now thinking back, i was wondering if the cabinets are too small and too high up, does it serve any purpose? And not to mention, they might restrict the height of the fridge i might get in future as well.

So can anyone who had done cabinets like that share any experience with me? :)

  6. OMG, Sarah, yes, your description totally fit! I was so disappointed when i actually took the effort to go to the Jalan Besar showroom during lunch time and then i was so unlucky to get this type of sales staff to serve me.

In the end, i didn't choose Ikea's sink though, just thought it was a bit too pricey so my mum and i choose the sink, hob and hood at Hoe Kee at IMM instead, i am really happy with the service there. =)
