  1. Hi all,

kinda wonder whats the difference between an ID and a contractor.

I know its makes a difference but wad are the difference ?

Issit Contractor will do up (DIY) for example a wardrobe, cabinet bla bla bla....whereas ID is to see your house and recommend what you need and draw up designs for you to choose, if you want eg.. a customize wardrobe, cabinet, etc, they can only recommend u to this and that shop but they won't DIY it.

But contractor can also do what an ID do, isn't it ? plus they can do up something...

As stated, its first time renovating, I asked for this draft quote from the contractor, this is only a draft, as not every details is finalize yet. However would like all the brothers here to help see and comment on which area you think is pricey and I will then research on that area for cheaper solution.

I research ard, find that he charge too pricey. Will need more inputs from u guys while I continue to source for contractors. Anyone has any contractors to recommend can PM me. Thanks.

Pls give recommendations if any. Thanks.

If dun use paint, there are wad types of "wall papers" ?

What are their pros and cons and price range ?

  6. Just curious, but this question might be abit noob.

I wonder do you all make holes in ur walls ? just to hang things that is a little heavy for those sticky hooks.

If nx time regret then the holes can be "repaired" with wad ? or there are better ways instead of drilling holes ?

  7. Bed frames I recommend Cellini at Furniture mall and Bedding Saloon at McPherson Road, look for Anjohn. Bedding Saloon has many bed frames modern but eventually I got from Cellini.

For Lightings, try Lightz D Shop @ 271 Jalan Besar. They r not the cheapest, but its safe to get from there. They wont anyhow 'chop' u. "Cash for quality". I got my lights there. Within 2 hours got everything from there. Try not to act rich or show that u r rich there....LOL

    lol...k

I will take note of dressing...roughly how much for a queen size bed frame ??? or wad size u got from there ?? mayb i can compare price first.

anyone got any other lobangs ???

come in contribute pls thx a million

he did quite a major project although our flats are new ones

if u're interested, i can give u the number to contact him

ask him to show u the previous projects he had done
