Help Needed...scdf Water Pipe Juz Outside Main Door
simplelives replied to Elston Phua's topic in Geomancy/Fengshui
Nope, the water feature is inside the house. I've got a display cabinet placed infront of the main door, forming a foyer kinda thing, and placing the water feature on top of the display cabinet. -
I'm also using Mitsubishi Starmex... but expensivee!! Think it's about $4k for a System 4, from Gaincity. Thought the price of aircon will go down after all these years!

Help Needed...scdf Water Pipe Juz Outside Main Door

Think mine also something like that, geomancer told me to get a water feature and place it at the entrance to the door, to block the pipe -
Ok, like I've said.. I'm totally new to such reno stuff. Anyway, seriously? enter via the board? as in, what, we'd have to take the board out and crawl out from that opening (which sounds pretty fun actually!).

I recall reading someone posted a list of things to check through when doing final handover... erm,any idea where is it?

But the key is just to open the riser door right? Hmms.. apparently Mr Chew said that Bedok Central's windows are very long, so for roman blinds, need 4 panels or something and might look cluttered etc etc. Are roman blinds the same as roman shades? (Jeez, I think I learnt so many new things with his renovation!)

Blah. Had some of my cabinets taken back as parents weren't too satisfied with the colour. Anyway, am thinking of moving in 3rd week nov, currently they are still doing the carpentry work. Would it be too soon for the curtain people to come down to take a look? And also, how long do they take to do up the shelter shelving? I can't wait for it to be more or less done, so I can start on my shopping on houseware accessories! There's a pretty shop at Great World City, something Denmark, sells really nice housewares.

Checked the other page in the forum with regards to curtains, called Mr. Chew - but apparently his daughter is getting married next month so he cannot make it. But Jimmy Textiles doesnt do house visits, right? Am gonna try Golden Leaf Curtain, but am afraid that they'd do some hardselling especially if they do house visits. Nobody done those kinda shelving for the bomb shelter - wanna know estimately how much would it cost. Goodness, this reno has been costing a bomb!! And CNY coming soon, need to set aside funds for my new year clothes too!!

Blah, scrolled until my eyes are crossed (not as if online shopping makes my eyes crossed!).. anyway, any contacts for good curtain makers? And also, anyone did up their bomb shelter to have those metal racks for storage purposes? Any contacts?

Yup, told the branch office about it and thankfully they are going to see it tomorrow. ID was commenting that he'd make noise if they blame it on our reno works. Dining table & all lights settled. Now left sofa and bedframes. From what my father said, apparently parquet has been up and they've installed my frosted glass shower screens & partition to the kitchen. Pretty happy with the progress, now left is carpentry works. Any idea when the pavilion thing beside 221A would be up? It's such a hassle having to walk from the carpark to the block itself!

I've just discovered some cracks on my kitchen wall tiles but it's been more than 2 months since I've gotten the keys. Can I still report? But my contactor did not touch anything in the kitchen yet.

So long!? Thankfully I made **** lot of noise to my ID/contractors and they're doing it for me for free. PE Submission wld take about 3-4 working days. Finally.. I should be seeing some headstart in my reno process. Renovation is sucha nerve-wrecking thing to do!

Hi, my very first post. Am at 221A, and renovations have been delayed and making me so stressed out. 1) Pending screeding from HDB - any idea how long would that take? 2) Pending HDB's approval to hack some bits of the wall - PE submission all done.
