Hi eling2008, can you send me a message so I can reply you?

The next pictures will be that of the Open Concept Kitchen My experience so far... Dennis is a someone we feel very comfortable with and we didn't need to be constantly "on the ball" with him. Initially, I mentioned that he is always late by 15 to 20 mins for our meeting. But since mentioning it to him, he actaully made an effort to be on time and was even there earlier for the rest of all our of meetings So kudos to him for making the extra effort My reno is not exactly problem free, we did have a few issues, that I mentioned previously like the Curtains (not Dennis fault), the Grouting on the floor was pink intsead of white & the ugly grey piping in the master bathroom. Curtains was resolved, though not 100% to my satisfaction (just 88% satisfied), but they did try their best & I appreciate their effort. The grouting issue was solved after I asked BSS the colour of the grouting they used for their living room floors. Once I got the information, Dennis promptly get it done & the difference is renmarkable Finally the grey pipe on the bathroom. Hubby hates the look of it & told Dennis. Dennis, as usual, said "No problem, let me think about it". Then Dennis got hold of our airdon guy, Edwin & together with my hubby discuss the the issue to death! The good news is that they grey pipe is GONE!!! Not a sinlge pipe/trucking can be see. My place feels like a condo Edwin really came through for us with regards to the aircon trucking & piping. Neighbours who came to our place are shocked to see that there is absolutely no sign of pipes or trucking (BTW, I do not have any false ceiling except in the bathrooms). Dennis really came through for us with so many other things, from the concept of the place, the way things are done, the bidet spray, the rain shower, the shower screen, the wardrobe, etc... Too much to say Our electrician bill was also very reasonable, taking into consideration the hacking that I did to move all 5 ceiling fans so that it is in the centre of the room, the doubling up of lights so there are no "holes" in my cove lighting. The numerous changes we made for the location of the switches, etc. Anyway, they say, a picture says a thousand words so will let my pictures be the judge of Dennis & his guys hard work

Daughter's Pull-Out Bed Due to the size of her room, we decided to purchase a single bed for our daughter (she used to sleep in her own Queen sized bed). However, she oftens have sleepovers so we needed to purchase an extra mattress of get a pull-out bed. We also need as much storage as possible for all her toys! We finally found what we wanted. A Pull-out bed with extra storage View Before from the front View After (cos of the difference in the height of the mattress, there is a "step")

I just wanted to update all on the City Gas Heater. It is true that you have to turn on the water for a while (about 30 seconds) for the water to be hot. This is only applicable to showers. For taps its about 10 to 15 seconds for it to be hot. However, once the water is hot, its really hot! And you need to adjust the heater to your liking. For those who is worries that the water may not be hot enough, you no longer need to worry. However, you have to "play" around with the temperature & water pressure knobs on the heater to find the best fit. We experiment is for about a week or so to find the best fit for the family. The only problem I face is for my common shower where the water is not hot at all unless I turn on a tap in another part of the house. I contacted BSC to complaint that there is sometimes wrong with the water pressure. After 3 rounds of investigation, they finally figure out that the shower mixer was to blame. So they change the shower mixer for me and since then, I do not have any problems I have rain showers in the both bathrooms and as far as water pressure & heat of water is concern, I also have no prolems if both shower are used at the same time. Its true that the water pressure is not high (aka, I do not feel a strong force or water flowing down) as my water pressure is atdefault of 2.5. We find the water pressure good enough for us so we are gonna keep the reading to 2.5. If you prefer a stonger water pressure, all you have to do is ajust it to 3 or 3.5. I understand from PUB that some residents even adjust it to 4.5. But please bear in mind, the higer the reading, the more water is flowing out of the taps. My reading at 2.5 is also quite good that I don't even turn on the taps at my sink to full blast, otherwise the water will be all over the sides of the sinks. The thing about using City gas heater is that you have to keep the yard door close. Otrherwise, the strong winds will blow the fire out. I hope my updates on City Gas Heater is helpful to those of you still considering whether to use City gas heater or not.

My Unhappiness - The Curtains I did multiple pleats instead of double pleats. The curtain maker absolute did not do a good job as you can see from the "holes". Very upset with them cos they cut corners and use less fabric. I still owe them money & they do not dare to call me...

My reno is 90% complete & I moved in on CNY eve. Yes, CNY eve! Been very busy since then, which explains why I have not been updating my blog. Final touch-up is still pending as we wish to stay here a few more days and see if we can discover any issues. To be truthful, my renovation is pretty smooth. However, there are 3 hiccups which some say its minor. One of the hiccups are the curtains, no fault of Dennis, but still... Its part of my reno progress. Will update photos of my masterbed room 1st. I don't have a headboard but we made this storage cum headboard for our King sized bed Back of HeadBoard Front of Headboard
