    Actually, the HDB shops are not really cheaper, they just sell inferior products. They get all their products from wholesalers and then just mark up. The really cheap products are just really lousy products. You are better shopping at a proper store if you can afford it.

    hmmmmm...... sorry i might not know how you define your 'proper store'

    but im very sure they are not selling inferior products.........

    because they selling EXACTLY the same items as display in MR DECO, FURNITURE HQ, some of the non-kelvin-giormani in Furniture club.........

    and of course at a fraction of the price in the main shopping centre.

    of course they do have really cheap stuff that are inferior........... to cater the crowd that wants really cheap stuffs

    Have been to a few new launches. Just wondering...why developers refuse to reveal their selling price psf? Isn't it good if they were to reveal the price before hand so that buyers can get prepared before they commit? Unless they want to see the respond of the market before determining the price.

    because the psf is different in every unit............... how do they reveal?

    the bigger the house, the lower the psf.......... the higher the floor and the better facing ones are of higher psf...........

    anyway those who reveal always write "FROM XXXXpsf"........... normally those are the biggest penthouse unit......... haha......

    just to iform you that S&C do custom made sofa............

    i wanted him to duplicate a kelvin giormani sofa set................ retail @ $2400 for 2 seater........... they made it at $1000.

    melvin ensure me it's 99% same as the original...............HOWEVER the delivery is due in sep..........hahahaha...... so no comments on finished product yet...........

    anyway he's really nice..... plan to buy dining table from him...... he tell me just to give him the model number and he will send to my house in sep..... no need deposit....... :rolleyes:

    hi yowetan...... there's no bench cos i dun want........ so i use that to change to the change to bedsheet.......... you can also use that to change to $65 cash........

    since i haven collect the bed...... i intend to change my 2 bedsheet to $130............ cos i dunno the quality of the bedsheet

    haha....... got money why buy house for grand children or great grand children........ you think they will appreciate meh?

    think they wun even know who you are in the first place.....

    haha....... got $$ i spend first......... dun bother for the next generation........ finish your kids' education and thats it....... dun expect much....... =P

    Wow...... you got a nice place!!

    i missed the boat in feb/march to buy the unit....... so i got another one acroos the street...

    anyway would like to seek your advise:

    you mentioned you are installing the ceiling fan........ will it make the room look smaller? as it kinda lower the ceiling already

    serta sophistication is NOT the highest range.................. its more of the above middle range................

    serta have more expensive ones like perfect day..........

    for a sophi............. it already comes with latax and silk cover................... if you wan any simmon with latax....... it will cost at least $4500 range and above........

    however mattress is a very individual experience.............. when i lie on a $15k simmon bed........ i dun really feel anything at all..... it is not as comfortable as on a 2k simmon mattress i tried

    hmmmmmmmm.............. serta bedframe need to add $$.............. but can bargain...........

    anyway i did not get a bedframe because i had a platform........... but then after i purchase the mattress....... i suddenly tot i need to buy a bed frame for my guest room........... serta queen bedframe should be $599........... if can bargain till $300 then i will consider........ :unsure:

    but i think they wun entertain me........... haha...........

    actually i do agree that having pets somehow affect the fengshui............... but not sure whether caging up affect or not.......

    ever since my new neighbour moved into beside my house 2 years back, my family start to face financial problems and luck is turning bad, we can feel that what ever we do..... things are not so smooth............ to the extend that all my grass in the garden start to turn brown and all my trees and plants start to get get infected by bugs and turn botak..........

    then one day my father's friend which study fengshui as leisure came to visit us and notice my new neighbour got plenty of birds......(around 100 birds)..... and most of them are kept in the back yard........ which is where we do our cooking......... and the dogs my neighbour kept keep urine in the front yard, and against the common wall we share.......

    the friend suggest that we should keep some pet to counter my neighbour's pets, because their dogs are bringing me shiits and the birds are 'stealing' and 'eating' my rice.......

    so my dad just buy a big fake dog and place it in outside my door........... and we bought a real doggy......... ever since then............ everything is very smooth sailing............ even the grass start growing evergreen and the plants are now blooming

    how do they define 'trapped'?

    my dog lives in the upper floor of my house, she is free to run around freely in the upper floor living room and bedroom.............. however the coward dare not climb stairs........... so she doesn't go down to the main living room or kitchen.......

    do these considered as confinement for my pet?

    hiiiiiiiii im so looking for serta sophistication and simmon glendale..............

    for queen size sophistication is 3390............. glendale is around $2800

    sophistication's pillowtop is made of latex while the glendale is only foam.............

    for me......... i feel that sophistication's is more comfortable to my liking..............hehe

    anyone got lobang where to get cheapper?

    Alot of people like me, come to forum to read, to ask and seek suggestions.

    some people tend to follow blindly and then blame the poster for wrong information.......

    but i do believe these poster could not be blame becos out of goodwill, they somehow or at least try to contribute something. Think we shouldn't sarcasticly critize these advisors.

    Instead those 'innocent people' should be more careful and do their own research.

    When everyone that lives in the house is happy as a family, healthy and safe............ then it's good fengshui already. We shall just read and learn, and not anyhow adopt to jeopardise anything else.
